5th Grade at Kittredge
Hi 4th and 5th graders,
For art this last trimester, we are moving to a pass/no pass grading system. In order to receive a passing grade you will need to complete five projects in the next seven weeks. Ms. Gules will continue to offer Zoom classes but they are separate from these projects.
Below is a list of the projects and more detailed descriptions and instructions. Remember: you only have to do 5 of them! I suggest you do one a week and then you will be done by mid May and have until the end of the school year to do any additional art for fun.
Please note I will be teaching most of these projects in my K-3 Zoom classes on Tuesdays at 2:30pm. You are welcome to join us for those. I have put the date that we will be doing the project next to its description below in blue font.
My expectation is you should spend about 45-60 minutes on them. Your final result should be similar in effort to the final pieces we do in class.
To turn them in, please take a photo of the work and email it to me. All art should be done by Friday, June 5th. I will be sending weekly check-ins to remind you of the assignments.
I’m happy to answer any questions about the projects at any time. Email me at [email protected].
